-------------------------SOLD------------------- Up for sale is a very nice French "Les Chantiers de Jeunesse francaise" WWII youth organisation knife. The knife is uncommon by itself, but what makes it rare is dated scabbard. Scabbard is dated by 1942, althou the stamp is faint, it has a clearly readable date. The knife itself is unmarked. The aluminium handle has some dents as someone was hitting something with it. The retaining strap has 2 rivets missing and the blade is lightly sharpened. In any case, the item is far from mint but the condition is fair taking in to the account that usually these knives are heavy used because they are quite handy.
